Walmart shares fell more than 9% after the retailer reported U.S. comparable sales rose 2.6% in the quarter ended July 31, its slowest growth in more than six years. Revenue increased 5.9% to $187.9 billion, and Walmart raised its full-year outlook while offering guidance Wall Street viewed as cautious. The company said customers remain under pressure from higher fuel and other prices, with spending more constrained among lower-income shoppers. Walmart said it received substantially all of $2.9 billion in tariff refunds and is using the money to fund 11,000 price rollbacks and other customer investments.
