Rapper Offset, 34, was shot April 6 outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and is in stable condition in hospital, his spokesperson said.
The Seminole Police Department said the incident happened in a valet area after 7 p.m. and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
Seminole police said two people were detained at the scene and that the investigation is ongoing, with efforts under way to identify one or more additional persons involved.
One detainee is rapper Lil TJay, born Tione Jayden Merritt, who was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without a valid license, with a combined bond of $3,000, jail records show.
Lil TJay's lawyer Dawn M. Florio said Merritt had not been shot and that he was not charged with any shooting, and officials said the probe into the shooting outside the casino continues.
