Lorrayne Mavromatis filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday against MrBeastYouTube LLC and GameChanger 24/7 LLC alleging sexual harassment, Family and Medical Leave Act violations and wrongful termination after returning from maternity leave.
The complaint alleges Mavromatis worked during an eight-week period after giving birth on March 31, 2025, was asked to join a meeting while in labor, and was fired less than three weeks after returning to work in November 2025.
A Beast Industries spokesperson called the suit a "clout-chasing complaint" built on "deliberate misrepresentations" and said Mavromatis's position was eliminated in a reorganization.
The MrBeast channel's audience and company size vary across reports, with roughly 450 to 479 million subscribers and about 450 to 750 employees, and Mavromatis said she once oversaw a team of 20 with a $500,000 monthly production budget.
Mavromatis has filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and is seeking unspecified monetary damages to be determined by a jury as the federal case proceeds.
