Joey Chestnut won the 2026 Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4 at Coney Island, eating 66 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to claim his 18th Mustard Belt. The victory was Chestnut’s second straight at Nathan’s after he missed the 2024 contest over sponsorship issues and reclaimed the title in 2025 with 70.5 hot dogs and buns.
