The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Four women accused actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct in the BBC documentary “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” alleging incidents that occurred when they were teenagers between 2002 and 2016. One woman said Leto sexually assaulted her in a motel when she was 17; another said she had sex with him in California at 17. Leto, 54, denied the allegations, saying, “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life.” Five women also alleged they received sexual phone calls from him.
