Zajko Parents Murder Charge

Pennsylvania authorities charged Michelle Zajko, 33, in the 2022 killings of her parents, Richard and Rita Zajko, who were found shot to death in their Chester Heights home on New Year’s Eve. Delaware County District Attorney Tanner Rouse said Zajko faces murder, burglary and conspiracy charges and alleged she arranged the killings on her 30th birthday with at least one accomplice. The case drew renewed attention because Zajko has been linked to the Zizians, a cultlike group that authorities and reports have connected to multiple deaths since 2022. The charges mark a major break in a long-unsolved double murder that had shaken the affluent Philadelphia suburb.
