Trump Dedicates Roosevelt Library

President Donald Trump traveled to Medora, North Dakota, to dedicate the newly built Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, a 96,000-square-foot facility in the Badlands honoring America’s 26th president. Trump arrived in Freedom250-themed pageantry ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations, toured the $450 million library and delivered remarks at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre praising Roosevelt as embodying the “heart, soul, fight, and spirit” of the United States. The library highlights Roosevelt’s formative ties to North Dakota, where he hunted buffalo in the 1880s, grieved personal loss and developed conservation values that later shaped his presidency. The event also drew attention to the project’s scale, its Independence Day grand opening and support from Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, a former North Dakota governor.
