The reporting
Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., announced he will run in South Carolina’s special Republican primary to replace the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, entering the race after President Donald Trump endorsed Graham’s sister, Sen. Darline Graham Nordone. Graham Nordone was appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to temporarily fill her brother’s seat and was sworn in on July 14. Trump said he asked Graham Nordone to seek the nomination in the August 11 special primary and offered his “Complete and Total Endorsement.” Norman said his campaign would focus on advancing Trump’s America First agenda.
