The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

White House border czar Tom Homan said Sunday that ICE will require officers to record vehicle stops with at least one body camera, adding that he wants agents to wear cameras during those encounters. The policy follows two fatal shootings by ICE officers earlier this month, one in Texas and one in Maine. Homan said the recordings would show the public what officers saw when they used force and said body-camera footage more often exonerates law enforcement than leads to convictions.
