The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned after 36 days of youth-led Cockroach Janta Party protests over alleged NEET medical entrance exam leaks and the government’s handling of them. The CJP, which began as Abhijeet Dipke’s satirical online campaign and grew into demonstrations at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and more than a dozen cities, called off its five-week protest after talks with the government. The movement said authorities agreed to several demands for exam-system reforms, while Pradhan said he had submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
