Andy Ogles lost Tennessee’s Aug. 6 Republican primary for the 5th Congressional District to former state Agriculture Commissioner Charlie Hatcher, ending the two-term incumbent’s bid for renomination. Hatcher led Ogles by just over six percentage points with virtually all votes counted, according to unofficial results.
