The reporting
U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein on Friday denied President Donald Trump’s renewed request to move his New York hush money criminal case to federal court, ruling the cited grounds were “neither new nor legally sufficient.” Trump sought the transfer to pursue dismissal on presidential-immunity grounds after his conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Hellerstein said Trump had not shown good cause for the late second removal request and found the Stormy Daniels payoff discussions were not official presidential acts.
