US Envoys Seek Ukraine Talks

U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Saturday and Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Sunday, reviving discussions on possible U.S.-Russia-Ukraine talks. Witkoff said the Kyiv meeting produced “very meaningful discussions” and “substantive progress,” including the possibility of trilateral negotiations involving Washington, Kyiv and Moscow. Zelensky said the United States is exploring whether Ukraine and Russia could take winter de-escalation steps while broader peace negotiations restart. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia does not rule out resuming the trilateral format.
