The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Russia launched an overnight attack into Sunday on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, firing more than 40 missiles and 120 drones; officials said at least six people were killed and dozens wounded, including one dead and 16 injured in Kyiv. Ukraine said the barrage included 41 missiles and 125 attack drones, with Kyiv the main target and damage across several districts. The low interception rate renewed Kyiv’s requests for U.S.-made Patriot air defense systems and interceptors. Ukrainian drones also hit warehouses and other sites across Russia, killing nine people and wounding more than 80, Russian officials said.
