Reports say Trump used a secret plane switch after an Iranian assassination threat.
President Donald Trump secretly left Ankara on July 8 aboard a smaller U.S. military aircraft after intelligence warned of a credible Iranian threat against him and Air Force One. The operation had Trump board the plane presented as Air Force One after a NATO summit, then move under cover of an airport catering container to an alternate C-32A while the decoy aircraft departed with White House staff and reporters aboard.
