Disney Raises Streaming Prices
Disney is increasing Disney+ and Hulu subscription prices, especially for ad-free plans.
What happened
Disney is raising subscription prices for Disney+ and Hulu across standalone and bundle plans. The Disney+/Hulu ad-supported bundle remains $12.99 a month, while the ad-free bundle rises to $21.99 a month. The increases fit Disney’s push to make streaming more profitable and move customers toward bundles instead of standalone subscriptions. Disney has also been bringing Disney+ and Hulu closer together through a planned single app and a unified viewing experience. Disney said it will keep its most popular ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle at $12.99 a month. New subscribers face the prices immediately. Existing subscribers will see them on their next bill.
