The reporting

Thousands of Bonnie Tyler fans lined Newton Road in Mumbles, Swansea, as the singer’s coffin was brought back to her former home in a public funeral procession. Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, died unexpectedly on 8 July at a hospital in Portugal at age 75. The Grammy-nominated Welsh pop singer was internationally known for her 1983 hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” The gathering preceded a celebration of life for Tyler in the seaside village where she had lived.
