Police arrested 19-year-old Camron Harris after finding the non-student suspect hiding in a Virginia State University dormitory closet about 4 p.m. Saturday in connection with the campus shooting. The gunfire erupted around 1:28 a.m. near the Quad Annexes, outside residence halls by Boisseau Street and 3rd Avenue. Officers found five people with gunshot wounds; one was in critical condition, and at least one victim was a student. The campus lockdown was lifted as university and Chesterfield County police continued investigating multiple suspects.
