One passenger was treated and released at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport after a laptop caught fire on American Airlines Flight 2398 from Atlanta to Dallas on Friday. The flight was carrying about 133 passengers and landed safely at DFW after reports of smoke from a customer’s laptop. In air traffic control audio, the pilot reported a “cabin fire in the back of the airplane” and said flight attendants were trying to put it out. The pilot also told controllers some passengers may have suffered burns.
