NYPD officers fatally shot 49-year-old Pamela Cisneros of Queens in Times Square on Monday after authorities said she stabbed two strangers, killing a 32-year-old woman and wounding a 68-year-old man. Officials said Cisneros, armed with two knives, attacked the victims near West 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue shortly before 4:30 p.m. The wounded man was hospitalized in stable condition; the 32-year-old victim died at a hospital. Police said the attacks were random and unprovoked, and the shooting will be internally investigated.
