Utah 4th District Judge Tony Graf ruled Tuesday that Tyler Robinson, 23, must stand trial on all seven counts in the killing of Charlie Kirk, finding prosecutors had shown probable cause. Robinson pleaded not guilty after the ruling to charges including aggravated murder and felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury. The aggravated murder count is a capital charge, and prosecutors said they will seek the death penalty if Robinson is convicted. Kirk was fatally shot at a Utah Valley University event on Sept. 10, 2025.
