The reporting
Rep. Russell Fry has formally entered South Carolina’s special Republican Senate primary, joining Rep. Ralph Norman in challenging Trump-endorsed appointed Sen. Darline Graham Nordone. Graham Nordone, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, said she would run for a full six-year term after Trump urged and endorsed her bid. Gov. Henry McMaster appointed her after Lindsey Graham died July 11. The GOP primary is set for August 11, with the nominee advancing to the November special election ballot.
