Trump Golf Course Arrest

Jeanine John Taele, 38, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to four criminal charges after authorities said searches found additional weapons-related evidence, including body armor, an illegally modified AR-15 rifle, ammunition and a notebook with suspicious statements at his home. Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested him Sunday outside Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes after plainclothes federal agents reported that he appeared to be monitoring security-planning activity. Authorities said Taele had a 16-round magazine in his pocket and a loaded pistol in his car. President Donald Trump was scheduled to visit the course for a Republican National Committee fundraiser, and the Secret Service is investigating whether Taele posed a threat.
