The reporting

A neutral summary of the key facts most outlets agree on, drawn from reporting across the political spectrum.

Marcus Coleman, father of 7-year-old Dalilah Coleman, testified at a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing on sanctuary policies and commercial driver licensing, telling Democratic lawmakers, “I reject your guys’ sympathy.” Dalilah was permanently disabled after a June 2024 crash in San Bernardino County involving an 18-wheeler driven by Partap Singh, an Indian national in the U.S. illegally. Singh entered the U.S. in 2022 and later obtained a commercial driver’s license. Dalilah suffered a fractured skull and broken leg and now has diplegic cerebral palsy and global developmental delay.

Democratic Policy BlameLeans Right

Democratic sanctuary and immigration policies endanger American citizens by protecting or enabling illegal immigrants who commit serious crimes. Democrats’ sympathy for victims is hollow because they continue to defend the policies and political choices that made those harms possible.
