Ambassador Huckabee Condemns Settler Violence

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee visited Turmus Ayya in the occupied West Bank on Saturday and called violent Israeli settlers “terrorists,” saying attacks on Palestinians were an “act of terror.” He met Palestinian American residents, including relatives of U.S. citizens killed by Israeli settlers, after weeks of unrest and repeated attacks on the town. Huckabee said people who seize property, burn cars or torch mosques must not be allowed to continue.
