The reporting
Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul vowed stricter gun-control laws after a 14-year-old student killed seven people and himself in Nonthaburi, north of Bangkok. Police said the boy first fatally shot his two grandparents at home, then went to Debsirin Nonthaburi School, where five teachers and staff members were killed. More than 20 people were injured, with some accounts putting the number above 30 and several victims in critical condition. Authorities said the gun belonged to the shooter’s grandfather and that he fired at least 26 rounds.
