The reporting
Jurors in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial told Judge William Sullivan for a second time Wednesday that they could not reach a unanimous verdict after nearly 30 hours of deliberations over five days. Sullivan issued a Tuey-Rodriguez “dynamite” charge urging continued deliberations, then sent the nine-woman, three-man jury home to return Thursday. Clancy is accused of killing her children Cora, 8, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in 2023; her defense says she was not criminally responsible.

Pro-Clancy commentary is distorting the facts, disregarding evidence, and encouraging people to excuse the killing of children. Lindsay Clancy’s defenders, especially the women publicly rallying around her, are behaving irrationally and embarrassingly rather than facing the reality of the case.
