JD Vance Rejects Iran Timeline

Vice President JD Vance declined at a White House briefing to set any deadline for ending the six-month U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran or to say whether it would be over before November’s midterm elections. Vance said he “wouldn’t call it a war,” arguing major combat operations are not ongoing, despite recent U.S. strikes on Iran and continued exchanges. He said Washington is not negotiating with Tehran and would not resume talks unless Iran stops attacking commercial shipping.
